Karen J. Lee of Karen Lee and Associates, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia offers financial planning services through her affiliation with Securities America Advisors, Inc. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and has earned her Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations.  Karen is also a Certified Money Coach. She holds a Master of Architecture from Tulane University and a Master of Science in Financial Services from the American College.  She also holds the Accredited Estate Planner designation.

Karen has worked in the financial services industry since 1987.  During this time she has worked with hundreds of families, individuals, and small businesses in helping them to achieve their financial dreams.  She has the comprehensive education and experience to handle all aspects of a person’s financial situation. As evidence of this, Karen holds various licenses and registrations in the areas of insurance, securities, and investment planning.

Karen and her family have lived in the Atlanta area since 1990.  In addition to her financial planning practice, Karen enjoys speaking and teaching financial strategies to different groups.   She is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Estate Planning Council. Karen and her husband, Ken, currently live in Roswell, GA., with their son, Daniel, and daughter, Julia, and many pets.  Karen and her family enjoy sailing, boating, running, reading, and all outdoor activities.

Scott Bechely

Director of Operations, CFP®

Scott has worked in the financial services industry since 2004 and joined Karen Lee’s team in 2007.  As Director of Operations with Karen Lee & Associates, Scott is responsible for the processing of all new business, servicing existing accounts and assisting Karen in the financial planning process.

Before joining the firm, Scott spent three years as a case designer for Aim Systems, Inc., a life insurance general agency in Alpharetta, GA.  During that time, he completed the requirements to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Scott also holds a Georgia insurance license, and Series 6 and 63 securities licenses.

Born in Chicago, IL, Scott moved with his parents to Marietta, GA in 1986.  He is an alumnus of The University of Georgia where he received his Bachelors of Business Administration in finance and graduated magna cum laude.  Scott is recently married and resides in Alpharetta, GA with his wife, Sara, and their dog.  He enjoys baseball, football, golf and camping.

Wanda Crane

Client Services Director

Wanda has worked in the financial services industry as a member of Karen Lee’s team since 1997.  Prior to that, she spent 18 years with Crum & Forster in Dallas, Texas as a Human Resources Specialist.

As Client Services Director for Karen Lee and Associates, Wanda’s primary goal is to provide clients with outstanding service.  Her experience in human resources and her willingness to serve helps her to appreciate the uniqueness of each client’s situation and to provide them with the attention they deserve.  Responsible for managing the office, Wanda keeps things running smoothly and handles a variety of special projects. One of her key activities is to help us remember and celebrate your important dates, including birthdays and anniversaries.

Wanda is a native of Kentucky, but is also proud of her Texas roots.  She lives in Acworth, GA with her dog, and enjoys traveling with her daughter, Jana.
